For a second, you could do that. There’s no harm. But if you wish to become a successful blogger and be an influential content creator in the market for a prolonged period, there are some skills that you should learn and improve.

You’re welcome, Kerim! To answer your question in the best possible manner… test it out with your audience! Different types of readers and different content subject matters will warrant higher or lower likelihood of a reader clicking on an internal link to go & read more information on a related topic. Ultimately though, you’re right that keeping your first several paragraphs of a post either (1) free of links or (2) only lightly linking to very important pages/posts on your site is the best practice I recommend.
