F29: My Creative Challenge to Make 29 Videos in 29 DaysThis February I'm Conquering My Fear of Making Videos... Wanna Join Me?

I’ve always been afraid of what people think of me. In videos, I fear that I’ll come across as disingenuous. That I’ll look like I don’t know what I’m talking about. That my hair won’t be perfect.

So yesterday, I decided I’m tired of it. I’m conquering this fear.

I now know who I am and why I’m here. I’m ready to move through what was once a limiting self-belief, and into my land of the free.

I have a feeling I’m not alone in this fear, either. Just a hunch. Maybe not, but possibly? If you’re reading these words, feeling something that touches on a related fear you have deep inside—of sharing your full self with other people, and if making video content feels right, yet inexplicably terrifying, come try this with me and you won’t be alone 😊

As a man of extremes, I naturally decided to go really big with this. 29 days. 29 videos. 29 opportunities to embarrass myself (or ourselves together?).

Join Me in the F29 Challenge

What is this F29 Challenge Thing?

Starting February 1, 2024, I’m going to create & publish 1 new video every single day of the month.

And if this speaks to you, I want you to join me in doing it too. Or at least doing your version of this. Perhaps that’s making your very first video. Maybe you’re ambitious, yet more sane than me, and wanna commit to making 1 video each week.

The number doesn’t matter. Neither does the format you create your content in, tbh. All are welcome to this creative accountability party.

What does matter, is that you have the opportunity (for free) to join a community of at least 1 other creator… possibly dozens, maybe hundreds… in taking real, actual steps towards expressing ourselves as individuals, together.

Here’s what you can expect when you join me in the F29 Video Challenge:

1. Membership with me in a private Discord group where we’ll share our creations, hold each other accountable, and give constructive feedback (this group has a lead-with-kindness policy)
2. Inside access to my recording schedule in a copy & paste Notion board template you can use to schedule your own creations for the month (and happily ever after)
3. Real, raw, honest, and kindly communicated feedback on your work art, from me throughout the month
4. A behind-the-scenes look at the budget-friendly tools, gear, and equipment I use to shoot & edit videos quickly
5. My process for researching and coming up with clever video topics that’ll attract new audiences

And probably a lot more, based on the unique challenges, wants, and wishes of whoever joins me in this challenge.

What’s Happens Beginning on February 1st?

We start making things! I’ll be making 29 videos, but you can make anything you’d like… fire up your blog and write alongside us, record your first podcast episodes, dust off your easel and paint to your heart’s content, bust out your pencils and illustrate with us.

There’s no wrong way to participate in this creative challenge. I’ll be making videos, and I challenge you to consider that first, but all courageous creators are welcome to my parties.

When you join the challenge, you can expect two things from me:

1. An invitation to our private Discord community (coming January 30th)
2. A preparation checklist to make the most of this challenge (coming January 30th)

It’s pretty simple, really…

• I’m going to create fun, useful things for & with the beautiful people in my world
• I’m going to conquer my fears—and if you have fears that might rhyme a bit, I’m inviting you to do this with me

Maybe, just maybe, this’ll be a little less scary, doing it together.
