Especially given the fact that many of the cheap web hosting plans on the market today, tend to have dramatically reduced feature sets or super long plan commitments spanning into the years (in order to compensate for their low-priced hosting plans). But that’s not the case with all of them.
If you want to find and compare the best cheap hosting plans, then you’ve come to the right place. Because if youβre starting out and your blogging budget is tight, it’s smart to keep costs low (like getting cheap web hosting), otherwise the expenses can add up quickly.
The good news is that plenty of extremely reputable, great, cheap web hosting plans will work well for getting your blog off the ground.

Disclosure: Please note that some of the links below are affiliate links and at no additional cost to you, I’ll earn a commission. When you purchase cheap web hosting using my one of my affiliate links, the company compensates me, which helps me run this blog and keep things like my 25,000 word ultimate guide to starting a blog free of charge. Know that I also only recommend products and services I personally stand behind.
One more quick note: In order to get the cheapest hosting plan price for each of these plans (shown in this guide), youβll often need to pay for a full 3 or 4 year commitment upfront, in order to lock in that low price. Itβll usually cost a little more in order to drop your plan duration down to just 1 year. That being said, some hosting companies do offer month-to-month plans, but that flexibility and short plan duration also cost a little more. Something to consider as you weigh your options.
Now, let’s dive in and break down the best cheap web hosting plans on the market today.
1. Dreamhost: $2.95/mo (Best Overall Cheap Web Hosting Plan)
If youβre new to blogging and not sure about which cheap web hosting plan to chooseβmy #1 recommendation is Dreamhost by far.
While they’re not the absolute cheapest hosting plan on the market (they are very close, though), Dreamhost provides an unparalleled level of features, no change in pricing when your plan renews, speedy load times, impressive customer service, advanced technical support and a great value from an established brandβwhich makes them the best overall cheap hosting provider in the industry.
For one, Dreamhost has been in the web hosting business for over 20+ years (since 1997). They have one of the greatest long-standing reputations in the industry and are one of just three top hosting companies to earn an endorsement from the makers of WordPressβand that’s no small feat.
Dreamhost’s Cheap Web Hosting Plan Quick Facts & Features:
- Initial Price: Starting at $2.95/mo
- Renewal Price: Remains at $2.95/mo (this is very unique)
- Average Load Time: 0.718 seconds
- Uptime: 99.96%
- Support: 24/7/365 from WordPress experts
- Money-Back Guarantee: 97 days (no questions asked, full refund)
- Domain: 1 Free domain name included
- WordPress: Pre-installed and ready to use right away
- Traffic: Unlimited traffic (no overage fees)
- SSL: Free SSL certificate for your website (HTTPS)
- Security: Built-in WAF (firewall) protection and free domain privacy
One of the best features about Dreamhost’s cheap web hosting plan, is that WordPress comes pre-installed on your website immediately after signing upβmaking it a super fast process to hit the ground running with the more fun stuff (like coming up with great blog post ideas and actually writing blog posts).
Dreamhost also includes a free SSL certificate (which makes your website ultra-secure for your readers), plus unlimited storage space and bandwidth to manage any spikes in traffic you may get. Their control panel dashboardβwhere you’ll manage your websiteβis designed to be extremely easy to use for new bloggers, without the complexities you used to see with the more dated cPanel layout that many other hosting providers haven’t yet moved on from.
Another very important feature of Dreamhost’s cheap web hosting plansβis that your renewal price is the same as your initial pricingβwhich is very unlike most other web hosting companies that offer a great introductory rate that gets sharply increased after your first year. Here’s a breakdown of the difference between Dreamhost’s Shared, VPS and DreamPress cheap hosting plans:
Dreamhost also offers a true monthly payment option if you donβt want toβor canβt afford toβpay upfront for the entire 3-year term (which is the plan duration that locks in your cheapest web hosting plan option if you can swing the extra investment upfront). Either way, Dreamhost also offers one of the longest money-back guarantees in case things don’t work out with your new blog.
You have a generous 97 days to cancel your cheap hosting plan with Dreamhost and still get a full refund.
And on top of their flexible refund policy, you can also get compensated in the form of a partial monthly refund if your website is ever down, as they promise 100% uptime for their customers, even on their cheapest web hosting plans (which is another industry-leading policy). Dreamhost also has strong environmental credentials, making it a great eco-friendly choice in the energy-intense world of web hosting.
For all of these reasons (and more), I recommend Dreamhost as the #1 cheap web hosting plan provider to go with today. You can compare their plans and learn more right hereβand compare them directly with another industry favorite in my guide to Dreamhost vs Bluehost.
2. Hostinger: $2.99/mo (Best Ultra Cheap Web Hosting Plan)
Hostinger’s cheap web hosting plan offers a decent amount of the core hosting features youβd expectβlike a one-click installation of WordPress. Their cheapest hosting plan also includes a free email address, which Dreamhost notably doesnβt provide for free in their cheapest hosting plans.
Hostinger’s Cheap Web Hosting Plan Quick Facts & Features:
- Initial price: Starting at $2.99/mo
- Renewal price: Increases to $7.99/mo (and up)
- Load time: 0.369 seconds
- Uptime: 99.91%
- Support: 24/7/365 customer service team
- Money-Back Guarantee: 30 days
- Domain: Free domain name offered (up to $9.99/yr)
- WordPress: Easy installation option (built-in website builder available too)
- SSL: Unlimited, free SSL certificate is offered with their cheapest hosting plan
Like with Dreamhost, Hostinger also avoids using the outdated cPanel layout for their control panel (which is a good thing). Instead, they have a simple dashboard with large icons to make it easy to find your way around and explore everything they have to offer with their cheap web hosting plans. They even have their own built-in website builder that you could use to build your websiteβthough I definitely recommend going with WordPress to power your blog instead.
Here’s a quick snapshot of the Hostinger pricing plan options:
It’s important to note that youβll also be limited to 100GB of storage space for your entire websiteβso if you plan on hosting video files on your website or if youβre concerned about running out of spaceβyouβd be better off with an unlimited cheap hosting plan with Dreamhost.
If youβre on a tight budget though, Hostinger is a fantastic cheap web hosting plan to go with, and their renewal cost is still very low too. You can see their plans and learn more here.
3. Bluehost: $1.99/mo (Best Beginner-Friendly Customer Service)
If you’ve done any research before coming here, then you’ve probably already heard about Bluehostβand thatβs no surprise. Like Dreamhost above, Bluehost is another of only 3 hosting companies to earn an endorsement from the makers of WordPress, largely because of how beginner-friendly their technical support team is when it comes to helping new bloggers troubleshoot the technical aspects of starting a blog.
Not to mention the fact that their cheap web hosting plans are also recommended by tons of top bloggers, as well as their great blend of performance, support, and budget-friendly pricing. All in all, Bluehost is a top-tier web hosting company with a wide range of plans that’ll allow you to keep your blogging costs low while focusing on growing your readership. The basic plan with Bluehost offers 10GB of storage, unlimited bandwidth, and a free SSL certificate.
Bluehost’s Cheap Web Hosting Plan Quick Facts & Features:
- Initial price: Starting at $1.99/mo
- Renewal price: Increases to $3.99/mo (and up)
- Load time: 0.406 seconds
- Uptime: 99.99%
- Support: 24/7 customer service and technical support (phone, email, chat)
- Money-Back Guarantee: 30 days
- Domain: 1 free domain name
- WordPress: 1-click easy install (immediately after sign up)
- SSL: Free SSL certificate (for first year only)
Most importantly (particularly for new bloggers) Bluehost has a very supportive customer service team who can help get everything up and running, while continuing to answer questions you may have about anything WordPress as you progress with your blog. You can call their support line or start a chat online before setting up your account. Here’s a breakdown of the pricing options you’ll have with Bluehost:
As I mentioned earlier, Bluehost is a great long-term option if you plan on growing your blog quicklyβas you can easily upgrade your hosting plan (while sticking with the same web hosting company) in the future by contacting their helpful support team.
If you’re brand new to blogging and know you’ll need a lot of technical assistance, then Bluehost’s cheap web hosting plan could be your best budget-friendly option. You can compare their plans and see more hereβand compare them to another top choice in my side-by-side of Bluehost vs HostGator.
4.AccuWeb Hosting: $3.99/mo
AccuWeb Hosting is a great choice amongst the budget-friendly hosting providers of the world, especially considering that their customer support is outstanding for such cheap hosting plans. Established in 2003, they offer servers in more than 14 locations around the world, so whether you’re looking for personal blog hosting or a high-end plan for a large website, they have great options that’ll grow with your site over time.
AccuWeb Hosting has a wide range of plans for WordPress hosting, VPS hosting, Forex VPS, Cloud hosting, dedicated servers and more. Their basic cheap hosting plan starts at just $3.99/mo, which actually hosts an unlimited number of websites on your account, which is very unique in the industry.
AccuWeb’s Cheap Web Hosting Plan Quick Facts & Features:
- Initial Price: Starting at $3.99/mo
- Renewal Price: Increases to $6.99/mo
- Average Load Time: 0.904 seconds
- Uptime: 99.97%
- Support: 24/7/365 from WordPress experts
- Money-Back Guarantee: 30 days

- WordPress: Pre-installed and ready to use right away
- Traffic: Unlimited traffic (no overage fees)
- SSL: Free SSL certificate for your website (HTTPS)
- Security: Built-in WAF (firewall) protection CageFS
Registration at AccuWeb Hosting is pretty easy too, there are no gimmicks with the checkout process, unnecessary upsells on features or switches in pricing. You’ll get what you’ve paid for and the performance of their servers won’t disappointβas their great uptime promises your website will (almost) never experience any downtime.
At just $3.99/mo, you’ll get hosting for unlimited websites on super fast SSD drives, a LiteSpeed web server, and CloudLinux OS with CageFX security. You’ll also get free SSL, migration, business emails, and more.
You can pay via PayPal or credit cards/debit card, and (with all their plans) you’ll get a 30-day no-questions-asked money-back guarantee, giving you plenty of time to evaluate their performance. Plus, it’s hard to beat their 24/7/365 technical support by a team of WordPress experts.
5. GreenGeeks: $2.95/mo
While GreenGeeks is one of the smaller hosting companies on this list, with around 300,000 customers, that doesn’t mean they’re lacking in any departmentβquite the opposite, actually. The way they’re differentiated in the hosting industry is their long-standing effort to deliver eco-friendly and cheap hosting plans to their customers.
Just because they’re eco-friendly, though, doesn’t mean they cut any corners on features and functionality their hosting customers get. One of those features is website performanceβwhich is crucial as you start getting traffic to your blog. They work hard to deliver fast load times on all of their cheap hosting plans.
GreenGeeks Cheap Web Hosting Plan Quick Facts & Features:
- Initial price: Starting at $2.95/mo
- Renewal price: No price increase after initial contract term π
- Load time: .452 seconds
- Uptime: 99.99%
- Support: 24/7 customer service (live chat, phone, email, ticketing system)
- Money-Back Guarantee: 30 days
- Domain: Free domain name included (for first year)
- WordPress: 1-click easy install
- SSL: Free SSL comes included
- Storage: 50GB web space
GreenGeeks is a great value for bloggers looking to get a cheap hosting plan and still find themselves with an environmentally responsible company (that also gives great tech support).
Here’s a breakdown of the cheap hosting plans available with GreenGeeks, starting at $2.95/mo:
GreenGeeks stacks even their cheap hosting plans with great features, considering how low-cost they are. A few standouts include the free domain name, no price increases after your initial contract, and free SSL with all of their cheap web hosting plans.
If hosting your website with a company with a strong ethos around caring for our environment is important, GreenGeeks should be your top choice. Their commitment to using renewable energy without customers sacrificing on performance, quality or price makes them a great contender on this list of the best cheap hosting plans.
6. Namecheap: $1.98/mo
While Namecheap is probably best known as a domain registrar, they also offer a number of high-quality and cheap web hosting plans. Their cheapest plan comes with 20GB of storage and unrestricted bandwidth, plus a free SSL certificate for your first yearβwhich is a pretty solid combination for the price.
Unlike most of our cheap web hosting plans here, Namecheap allows you to do 2 very unique thingsβyou can lock in their cheapest $1.98/mo rate for a contract duration of just 1 year (the lowest term on the market). They also let you have up to 3 websites running on their cheapest hosting plan, which is handy if you want to run a couple of blogs simultaneously.
Namecheap’s Cheap Web Hosting Plan Quick Facts & Features:
- Initial price: Starting at $1.98/mo
- Renewal price: Increases to $3.74/mo (and up)
- Load time: 0.830 seconds
- Uptime: 99.82%
- Support: 24/7 live chat and support ticketing only
- Money-Back Guarantee: 30 days
- Domain: Free .free domain name offered (or a .com domain costs $8.28/yr)
- WordPress: Easy installation (or use their own website builder)
- SSL: Free SSL certificate included
- Domain Privacy: Free WhoisGuard protection
- Email: Up to 30 email addresses included on your domain
Another positive aspect of going with Namecheap for a cheap web hosting plan is that they also offer a monthly payment option (though it does increase your costs to $4.48/mo on the cheapest hosting plan). Here’s a breakdown of Namecheap’s pricing:
Namecheapβs support offering is solid but unexceptionalβwith a 24/7 live chat available for quick questions or a ticketing system for more complex issues. That being said, they also have an extensive and straightforward knowledge base packed with step-by-step tutorials, and they can offer credit to your account if your site experiences any downtime.
You can compare Namecheap’s pricing plans and learn more right here.
7. A2 Hosting: $2.99/mo
A2 Hosting, like most of our picks for the best cheap web hosting plans here, also offers a standout customer support experience. One of their biggest selling points is that you can reach their support team (who they call the βGuru Crewβ) 24/7 over the phone, via live chat or emailβand theyβll get back to you with everything from quick questions to technical assistance very quickly.
An independently owned web hosting company based out of Michigan, A2 Hosting has been in the hosting business since 2001βso if youβre interested in supporting a smaller, scrappy company (that still provides a great level of service and experience) rather than a hosting giant with big marketing budgets, then consider A2 Hosting a great option.
A2 Hosting’s Cheap Web Hosting Plan Quick Facts & Features:
- Initial price: Starting at $2.99/mo
- Renewal price: Increases to $11.99/mo (and up)
- Load time: 0.336 seconds
- Uptime: 99.83%
- Support: 24/7 customer service team (phone, live chat, email)
- Money-Back Guarantee: 90 days
- Domain: No free domain name (it’ll cost $14.95/yr)
- WordPress: Easy installation
- SSL: Free SSL certificate
A2 Hosting mostly offers what youβd expect from any solid hosting provider, like the ability to quickly install WordPress immediately after signing up. Their cheap web hosting plans also give you unlimited space and bandwidth, plus a free SSL certificate for your website.
More uniquely, though, they’ll also offer to migrate your blog over to their hosting for free (if youβre moving your blog from being hosted elsewhere). Also unusual for cheap web hosting plans, A2 Hosting also includes up to unlimited email accounts for you to use if you’re coming in with a team to support your new website. Here’s their pricing broken down:
A2 Hosting is also really fast, especially for a company with such cheap web hosting plans. They also have great eco-friendly credentials. You can check out their plans and learn more here.
8. HostGator: $3.75/mo
HostGator is one of the most well-established players in the web hosting space, with over eight million customersβand very strong uptime to back their brand. Theyβve also got great customer support, available 24/7 by phone or live chat, plus a massive resource library of written and video tutorials to help you navigate the process of getting your blog set up.
Even their cheap web hosting plans come with a free domain name, which is unique to low-cost hosting plans, plus unlimited space and bandwidthβmaking them a great choice if you want to build a large site and expect to grow it fast.
HostGator’s Cheap Web Hosting Plan Quick Facts & Features:
- Initial price: Starting at $3.75/mo (through affiliates like me)
- Renewal price: Increases to $9.99/mo (and up)
- Load time: 1.007 seconds
- Uptime: 99.98% (you can request a 1-month credit if it drops below 99.9%)
- Support: 24/7 customer service (phone, live chat)
- Money-Back Guarantee: 30 days
- Domain: Free domain name included (first year only)
- WordPress: Easy 1-click installation
- SSL: Free SSL certificate included
Like with Dreamhost, HostGator also offers a true month-to-month payment option if you want to drop your billing cycle down to a monthly frequency (rather than lock in an account for multiple years upfront). As always, though, the longer your hosting plan lasts, the cheaper itβll be per month. So remember that if you can afford to spring for a longer duration plan that drops your overall cost down, it’s well worth the investment.
Here are the pricing options HostGator offers on their cheap web hosting plan, called Hatchling:
The only potential drawback to HostGator is that theyβre not as fast as other hosting companies, so if youβre planning to use a lot of images in your blog postsβor if speed is likely to be especially important to your audienceβyou may want to opt for a company with a faster reputation when it comes to their cheapest web hosting plans.
Either way, you can learn more about HostGator’s plan options right here and make the decision for yourself.
9. SiteGround: $2.99/mo
While SiteGround doesnβt have the absolute cheapest pricing for what you get, theyβre one of the most reliable hosting companies in the industry, with very fast load times and great uptime to keep your site at peak performance (even on their cheap web hosting plan). Youβll get 10GB space, limited broadband (enough for around 10,000 monthly visits), and the ubiquitous free installation of WordPress.
Their cheap hosting plan offers a lot of other extras too, like a free SSL certificate, free email and a complementary daily backupβwhich most providers donβt offer on their cheapest web hosting plans. Theyβll also keep your WordPress install up-to-date for you for, free of charge.
SiteGround’s Cheap Web Hosting Plan Quick Facts & Features:
- Initial price: Starting at $2.99/mo
- Renewal price: Increases to $17.99/mo (and up)
- Load time: 0.138 seconds
- Uptime: 99.99%
- Support: 24/7 customer service
- Money-Back Guarantee: 30 days
- Domain: Free domain name included (up to $19.99/yr)
- WordPress: Easy installation (or you can use their built-in website builder)
- SSL: Free SSL certificate included
- Backups: Free daily website backups included
- Traffic:Β Limited to 10,000 monthly visitors on their cheapest web hosting plan
Here’s a breakdown of the different pricing options available on SiteGround:
One unique thing to note with SiteGround is that if you do get a sudden spike in traffic (taking you over your plan’s monthly limit), then your blog might go offlineβas to not going over your traffic limits. You can fix this by contacting customer service and getting them to upgrade your hosting planβbut that’s a major problem if you have a big guest blog post go live, or you get some press attention, as some of those new visitors will end up arriving at a non-existent site.
SiteGround is a worthy option amongst the best cheap web hosting plans if you’re just starting on a budget and want a good mix of valuable featuresβplus, they extend all the way up to managed WordPress hosting plans if your site grows and your needs get more hands-on. You can see their plans and evaluate your options right here.
10. GoDaddy: $3.99/mo
Ask your friends if they’ve heard of a hosting company; GoDaddy is probably the first to come to mind. They’re a long-established player in the industry that specializes in offering domain namesβbut it also provides solid cheap web hosting plans for those that want to turn their new domains into full-fledged websites.
With their most basic cheap hosting plan, you get a free domain name (including a .com name), 25GB storage, and unlimited bandwidth. Just watch out for all the up-sells and add-ons during the checkout process, ranging from regular website backups to SSL certificates, email accounts, and more. For example, adding website backups increases your total bill to $2.99/moβalmost quadrupling the price youβre paying for hosting.
GoDaddy’s Cheap Web Hosting Plan Quick Facts & Features:
- Initial price: Starting at $3.99/mo
- Renewal price: Increases to $14.24/mo (and up)
- Load time: 0.517 seconds
- Uptime: 99.7%
- Support: 24/7/365 customer service experts (phone, chat, email)
- Money-Back Guarantee: 30 days
- Domain: Free domain name included
- WordPress: Easy 1-click installation
- SSL: Free SSL certificate offered with their cheapest hosting plan (for first year only)
- Traffic:Β Limit of 25,000 monthly visitors before needing to upgrade plans
- Backups: $2.99/mo add-on option
- Themes: Optimized WordPress themes are included for free
Perhaps the best feature about GoDaddy is that you can get hold of their customer service team easily by phone, chat, or email at any timeβthough you may find it takes a little bit to get a response from the live chat option if it’s on a particularly busy day for their support inquiries. Here’s a breakdown of the pricing options available from GoDaddy for WordPress-hosted websites:
If youβre tempted to go with a GoDaddy cheap web hosting plan just because itβs low-priced, keep in mind that the price does rise sharply (to $14.24/mo at least) after your initial term.
Their reported uptime and page load speeds are pretty strong though, so it could be a decent basic starting plan if you’re just looking for something cheap to get you through your first few months of blogging on a tight budget. Just know that you’ll likely want to migrate to another cheap web hosting plan after your initial low rate expires.
You can head over and check out GoDaddy’s pricing options to learn more hereβand compare them side-by-side here in my guide to Bluehost vs GoDaddy.
And that’s it!
We’ve made it through my in-depth review and comparison of the best cheap web hosting plans for bloggers in 2024.
Now, the biggest question…
What’s the Best Cheap Web Hosting Plan forΒ You?
Choosing the right cheap hosting plan when you’re just starting to blog (on a tight budget) can be tough if you allow it to be.
If youβre worried about making the wrong choice, fear not. The cheap web hosting plan you choose today doesn’t have to be the one you stick with forever.
All 9 of the best cheap web hosting plans I’ve reviewed here are great options when you’re on a tight budget.
Want my advice on deciding which hosting plan is best for you?
Dreamhost has the best overall value, cheap web hosting plans at $2.95/mo
If you want my personal recommendation, Dreamhost will give you by far the best bang for your buckβand they’ll set you up well for the long haul as a blogger. You’ll get features like:
- 1 Free Domain Name Included
- WordPress Pre-Installed on Your New Blog
- Unlimited Traffic
- Free SSL Certificate (HTTPS)
- Free Domain Privacy
- 24/7/365 Technical Support
- 97-Day Money Back Guarantee
- and more
When it comes to cheap hosting plans, starting at $2.95/mo (with no renewal price increase like many other hosting providers), Dreamhost stands alone with the impressive amount of value they give all of their customers for a very low cost. It’s one of the main reasons I still host many websites with them, like my girlfriend’s food blog, Vegan Anjβwhere I originally launched my own personal blog to document my vegan journey with VeganTable.
I seriously can’t recommend them more highly. You can check out Dreamhost’s simple plan options and get started right here.
Namecheap has the cheapest web hosting plans at $1.98/mo
If you need the cheapest web hosting plan (that’s still from a reputable company), go with Namecheap and their plan starting at just $1.98/mo.
I understand that sometimes price is the only thing that matters, especially if you’re trying to figure out how much it costs to blogβand you need to keep your expenses very low.
Their features don’t quite measure up to what you’ll get with Dreamhost’s cheapest hosting plan. Namecheap still gives you a decent value for their low pricing. You’ll get:
- Hosting for 3 Websites
- 24/7/365 Customer Support
- WordPress-Optimized Easy Install
The biggest things you’ll miss out on by going with this cheapest web hosting plan from Hostinger (compared to Dreamhost’s cheap hosting plan) are:
- You’ll have to pay extra for your domain name as they only offer limited TLDs
- Your blog’s loading speed will likely be a little slower than usual
- You won’t get a free SSL certificate from Hostinger (you can get free SSL certificates elsewhere)
- After the first term of your plan runs out, your plan pricing will go up to $3.74/mo
With all of this in mind, that’s why I personally recommend Dreamhost as having the best cheap web hosting plans. They’re hassle-free, straightforward, and a genuinely great company.
If you can afford to spring a couple of extra bucks per month for Dreamhostβit’s well worth it in the long run.
Keep in mind too, that all of these budget-friendly web hosting providers also offer more advanced hosting plans that’ll be suitable for larger sitesβas you figure out how to drive traffic and grow your blog in the coming months. Nothing is permanent in the hosting world, so your decision today can always be undone.
And truth be told, if you’re considering all options today… thereβs nothing stopping you from simply starting out with one of the best web hosting plans (regardless of budget) or a top monthly hosting plan if you’re expecting to devote a lot of time and effort to growing your blog over the coming months and have a high level of confidence in the success of your site.
If money is tight, though, then a cheap hosting plan will let you experiment with blogging (without spending a fortune).
And you can always upgrade to higher-tier plans with more features and better performance in the future. Be sure to check out my free keyword tool to make sure you’re pursuing the right topics for your blog.
i read everything about hosting plans but i think making money is a matter of thought. If you believe you are poor you will become poor, if you believe you are rich you will become rich. All that we are depends on our thoughts. I share this thought of Deepak Chopra
Boom! Thanks for sharing, Marco π
You have shared good stuff about web hosting. The given info can help me to take the new hosting. Thanks
You’re welcome, Jerry! Thanks for the comment π
This is awesome bro, you rock for putting this list together.
Thanks, Soumodeep!
Thanks for sharing the information. Great work.
You’re welcome, Sean! Thanks for the kind words π
Thank you for tell us about some cheap web hosting.
You’re welcome!
According to my experience, if you want a good web hosting and want to boost your site then money dosn’t matter. If any hosting provider is providing you good services at a reasonable price or even if the price high you should go for it. Pay for quality. But there are some hosting providers who give amazing services at affordable prices.
Love it, Karen! Thanks for sharing π
Great list of hosting with discounts! Thanks!
You’re welcome!
In your Dreamhost summary, you state the renewal price is the same as the initial price. This is what they state on their website: “This promotional offer is only available for new account registrations. At the end of the purchased term, the price renews at the then-current rate (currently $5.99/mo).”
Thanks for calling that out, Renee! I’ll get that updated/fixed in here ASAP π
I have no idea if my two intended blogs will boom or go bust. If I go cheap and there is a boom, how difficult will it be to change to another host? I was thinking of starting with namecheap then going with either Dreamhost or Bluehost if things take off.
Both of my domain names are available. Does that mean I own the words to the left of the period or can some one buy up the .co, .biz (or any ending). I am weighing making sure I own the .com version from the start or going with .free and when I change hosts, changing to .com. One is a play on words, so yeah, I definitely want to own that one.
thank you for your recommendation. I will look into it!
You’re welcome! π
Thank you for this detailed and helpful blog post! I’m definitely bookmarking this for future reference when I’m in the market for new web hosting.
Nice! Awesome to hear, Alex π
I want a blog not to sell or make money. Just something to publish my thoughts on widely accepted theology. So user friendly is good and something that doesn’t increase much after the first initial cheap. I’ve have used websites in the past on Wix. They are still there but inactive. If needed at all? If Wix does blogs free I doubt they do much? Thanks for any suggestions. I realize WordPress has free for this, and I’ve registered, but read somewhere that it does little after published. Thanks again! jack “:-Dx
